Theory

When the probe of the 500m water well depth measuring device comes into contact with the water/conductive liquid, the liquid completes the internal circuit which is signaled by the lighting of the LED as well as an audible sound (beep). The depth of the water can be read through the tape..

Storage

1.All 500m Water Well Depth Measuring Devices should be stored in an environment that is protected from direct sunlight. Storage areas should be free from rodents.

2.When 500m Water Well Depth Measuring Devices are not in use, it is recommend that the measuring tape is neatly wound onto the reel and the probe placed in its holder.

3.For extended periods of non-use, it is recommended that the battery is disconnected.

4.If the unit has been used in contaminated product it is recommended that the probe and tape is rinsed in clean water before storage.
